Retreat guests enjoy a Premium Package for drinks, tips included, On Board Credit (OBC), and the Unlimited Premium WiFi Package. A Concierge suite is essentially the same type of cabin as an infinite veranda it's just called Concierge when you upgrade to the class to get the perks. Finally, Concierge Class guests receive priority when selecting dining times in both the MDR and specialty restaurants.
Priority embarkation and debarkation
DH is a picky eater, and we have found it is easier to get a sauce changed, or veggie added without sending things back. MDR waiters are busy, and getting the little changes right isn’t as easy as in a smaller dining venue. After being in Aqua Class a few times, the 5 night Specialty restaurant package, plus a full cruise Persian Garden pass would be a better value, thus, our choice.
Expanded Room Service Menu
This space often doubles as a work station and the wife’s getting ready area. The benefits of staying in a Celebrity AquaClass stateroom don’t end there. Cruisers in this stateroom category also have access to an exclusive restaurant, Blu. There are plenty of benefits to staying in Celebrity AquaClass staterooms. These staterooms are designed for travelers who value wellness and fitness. What a bonus, especially if you didn’t spring for an alcoholic beverage package!

What's the Difference between Aqua Class and Concierge Class?
If you did want more space than a regular Veranda Stateroom, then you’ll instead need to look at the Suites that are available. These are much roomier and come with a lot of additional benefits. Celebrity Cruises offers a number of different options when it comes to picking your stateroom – it’s not just as simple as deciding on whether you want an ocean view or a balcony. Nestled close to the spa, guests have unlimited, complimentary access to The Sea Thermal Suite, along with a dedicated Spa Concierge.

These extra inclusions are in addition to all of the luxurious experiences aboard Celebrity Beyond, one of our picks for the best cruise ships of the year. I'm not really a specialty restaurants girl, so I can't help you there. When considering whether Aqua Class is worth the investment, it’s essential to weigh these benefits against your personal preferences and what you value most in a cruise experience. If wellness, tranquility, and a touch of exclusivity are high on your list, then Aqua Class might be the perfect fit for your next sea adventure. Whether you’re looking to indulge in some extra pampering or wondering if the additional cost justifies the experience, we’ve got you covered.
Shoe Shine Service
AquaClass guests also have exclusive access to Blu, featuring favorite dishes reimagined with a healthier twist. I have received mixed information from Celebrity where one agent informed me premium drinks and wifi are not included while another informed me (today) they are. One way Celebrity stands apart from sister cruise line Royal Caribbean is by placing a larger emphasis on its suite offerings, with broad suite privileges on almost all of its ships. Enjoying time in the spa's Persian Gardens is a big part of my pre-dinner routine. I see we would get unlimited access to the Thermal Suite and the Blu Restaurant with Aqua Class.
Specialty dining has a better ambiance and better menus. As food is subjective I would say have you done it before and did you enjoy the food? I didn't find it great so I personally wouldn't do it but I know others love it.
Retreat guests access the area with their key cards, which opens the Sundeck door. Here, guests find various lounge chairs and couches, a small pool area, and a dedicated bar. There is a special top-deck lounge and pool area for guests of The Retreat, called The Retreat Sundeck. While the environment of the Sundeck has an adults-only vibe, The Retreat pool and Sundeck areas are not adults-only.
What Is The Difference Between The Retreat Aquaclass And Concierge Class On Celebrity Cruises

Imagine a haven of tranquility where the stresses of the world melt away, and you’re enveloped in an atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation. It’s not just about the treatments; it’s about creating a space where your well-being takes center stage. Here, you’ll find more than just massages and facials; it’s an immersive experience that includes thermal suites, relaxation areas, and wellness consultations. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a day of exploring or seeking a holistic approach to wellness at sea, the spa access with Aqua Class is your gateway to a world of serene indulgence.
As such, Celebrity accommodates their fitness-forward lifestyle by providing a menu of workout gear that they can have in their room. All three classes, Aquaclass, The Retreat, and Concierge, have upgraded premium bedding. All content and pricing on our website is subject to availability and may change out with our control. Prices advertised are per person, based on 2 sharing unless otherwise specified. Prices are a guide and may not include relevant supplements and/or benefits.
This is more spacious than many other balcony cabins from competitor cruise lines. Our AquaClass cabin on Celebrity Beyond was stateroom 9246. Reviewing the deck plans, this cabin is on the starboard side of the ship and is a short walk from the midship elevators. This was an ideal location for us as it was only a few decks below the outdoor spaces and a short walk down to the main interior decks. Further, cruisers can also still order from that evening’s main dining room menu. Thus, you have the best of both worlds when dining at Blu.
If you aren't planning on using it it every day then you are better off allocating the $800 towards specialty dining, which includes the Lawn Club Grill and the Porch. Blu doesn't serve lunch and TBH regarding breakfast the MDR serves a sit-down breakfast so there's ways to avoid the buffet for breakfast without staying in Aquaclass. Besides, eggs over easy and toast is going to be the same whether in Blu or the MDR. IMO breakfast is one of the least important meals of the three where it really makes a difference whether you're eating at the MDR or Blu or Luminae.
In other words, guests who are not a part of either class cannot dine in these restaurants. You’ll be able to enjoy dining at Luminae and Blu (The Retreat’s private restaurant and AquaClass’s private dining), have workout gear in your room, and special spa access. There are three upgraded class options with Celebrity Cruises that we mentioned above. However, there’s an additional “fourth” class you can book that gets you the perks of AquaClass while also allowing you to be a guest of The Retreat.
But if there’s a reasonable move up offer then we’ll take it. I’m thinking that the cost of 3 specialty restaurants for 2 plus one Persian Garden pass would be the break even price for us. Choosing Aqua Class is akin to selecting a first-class ticket to a journey where every detail is thoughtfully curated for your comfort and enjoyment.
